Solomon's Private File #415
1950's. Stephen wrote about his life in letters to a penpal, and then
in a secure blog, in case he lost his memory again, in the master
computer in his school for gifted students, which he started attending
in 2016 in a new incarnation, until his death. Now his son Solomon is
attending the same school, and is writing in his own secure blog for
his future incarnations.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
Solomon is 34 in this story, in the Fall of 2060.
Solomon's Private File #415 "Raminor, Manchin, And God"
START Page
We weren't noticed. We walked into the grounds, and they DID notice us.
One said to me, "This is a private establishment. Please leave." I
said, "You are known to welcome visitors, even to teach them. Er,
attempt to teach them." He almost smiled at that. He said, "We are
engaging in a private ceremony." I said, "I understand very well that
you would want to keep the murder of a child private." He said, "How do
you know of this!" I said, "I know all that happens on this world."
Raminor said to me, "I know a lot, too." I said, "Yes you do, but it
doesn't sound as impressive to others. You know my fault of liking to
er, surprise people." He said, "You mean, shock them?" I said, "Eh,
that, too." Grins.
I said to the Monk, "Gave you enough time to recover?" He was
surprised again, and said, "Yes. Well done! I think you will not leave
willingly, and I feel I will be unable to make that happen." I said,
"You're doing well, so far." That unsettled him. Raminor grinned. I
said to Raminor, "Don't embarrass him." He said, "You do it to me." I
said, "And God does it to me. Seems to be the duty and prerogative of
the teacher to do it to the student. Don't expect that to change in
said, "I'll study harder. Hmm, think he noticed who your teacher is?"
We looked at the Monk, who was in awe. He said, "I did notice that, and
something else remarkable. Your discourse is completely managed
purposefully, but it's not planned, but as you go along. That's
amazing!" I said, "We train intelligence, the whole person, not just
the spirit, as you attempt." He bowed to us, and said, "Please come
with me."
As we walked, Raminor said to me, "They're not going to believe him."
I said, "HE almost doesn't believe him." Monk stumbled a little, on
hearing that. I said, "Humor tends to relieve some of the shock of
surprising things." He said, "Your love of humor is against your love
of surprising people." I said, "As it should be. All things must
balance, for the proper order of the world." The Monk stopped and
turned to me, and said, "Your wisdom continues to surprise me." Raminor
said him, "Wouldn't that happen only to those who don't have it?" Monk
said to him, "I see I will learn from you as well. Thank you." We
resumed walking. I said to Raminor, "It wasn't me this time. I'm
innocent!" He said to me, "True. Unusual for you." I said, "I'll try
harder." He said, "Oh, no, that's alright!" Chuckles. We knew the Monk
was grinning.
Our arrival interrupted a ceremony in progress. A boy was strapped to
a sturdy table in a courtyard. Monks had knives drawn. The Abbot said,
"What are you doing! You were ordered to prevent visitors from
disturbing us." Monk said, "I was unable to do that for these very holy
and wise visitors." Abbot said, "How is that possible? You were a very
skilled fighter before you came to us, which is why you had the gate
duty this hour." He said, "I could not think to act against them."
Raminor said, "And it wouldn't have worked. We are more skilled in that
subject." The Monk turned to us, and said, "You train the body as
well!" I said, "Yes, the whole person, as I said. To train only a part,
is inefficient, and contrary to how we live as a whole person. You are
aware that the body can sometimes move faster than the mind can
decide?" He said, "I am." I said, "The body then can be used to train
the mind to improve that. We can establish reflex decisions that mirror
what the body can do, but with thought and reason. That also then can
train the body to move more efficiently. As you see of this small
example, it is all one." Raminor said, "In demonstration, I can move,
and with control, faster than you can react to." He was then on the
other side of the Monk, faster than they could see well, and said,
"This is how the mind and body can work in harmony. Whole person
training in action." They all bowed to us.
I said to the Abbot, "Your gatekeeper didn't know this in thought,
but he felt it through noticing what he observed of our movements, and
the full control we used. A fighting expert would be that way, and feel
the abilities of others in that area, even if he didn't know why he
did. But that's not why we're here. Do you eat children very often? Is
it something of the taste of them that causes you to prefer them over
other kinds of food?" Our Monk tried not to laugh. They didn't notice.
The Abbot overcame his shock, and said, "We don't eat people!" I said,
"Oh, so you don't view children as people? Odd." He said, "We DO!" I
said, "So you don't eat them? It's wasteful to not eat what you
butcher." He said, "We don't butcher people!" I said, "The boy is
strapped to a well built table. You are standing around him with drawn
knives. What are we to think about that, but that you intend to cut him
up and eat him?"
He said, "Oh! It's not what it looks like." I said, "Are you not what
you look like, too? Is the sky not what it looks like? Are the knives
we see, actually flowers? Are you trying to make us be as foolish as
you sound?" He visibly tried to control his anger. He said, "We are
performing a ritual. That's all." I said, "Renaming what we see,
doesn't change what we see. People HAVE killed other people in rituals.
They think that makes it alright to do that. This does more to convince
me you were going to do what I described, not less." Our Monk said,
"They have demonstrated their wisdom and effectiveness. We should not
try to deceive them. It's not who we are or should be, and you know now
it won't work. Reason favors honesty in this." Some bowed to him.
The Abbot sighed, and said, "You are not lacking in some wisdom,
yourself." He said to me, "This boy is cursed. We would relieve him of
that curse." I said, "Who cursed him?" He said, "We don't know. He
doesn't know." I said, "What is your supporting evidence regarding this
curse?" He said, "Oh, you're a judge!" I said, "I've been called
worse." Some smiles. He said, "Things around the boy move of their own
will. Others experience unusual feelings around the boy." Raminor said,
"When you're in the water, not being able to swim is like a curse.
Learning how to swim, which all are capable of, to one degree or
another, removes that feeling of a curse. The difference between those
two states is knowledge and training." Our Monk stared at him, and
said, "I think I understand what you mean! Well said!" I said, "You
seem to be the only one of your people who understands. Consider
sharing that?"
He grinned and bowed to us. He said to the others, "The curse of the
boy is that he is unable, due to being untaught, to control his
abilities that are causing those unusual things, that others have in
not as strong measure. He may not even be aware of the cause." Abbot
said to me, "Is this true?" I said, "It is. He is not at fault, and
there is no real curse. However, I can apply them myself, and have, to
criminals. I make them feel the pain and suffering of their victims."
He said, with some evidence of fear, "We have experienced his feelings
at times. You have the same abilities, and with full control?" I said,
"We do. And more." He said to his people, "Release the boy!" They cut
the ropes. Raminor opened his arms, and the boy ran into them, sobbing
loudly.
I said to them, "Your victim has suffered much at your hands.
Everything must balance. What should be done to make this right?" He
said, "His parents asked for this!" I said, "That's close to a lie.
They asked for help. They would NOT have asked you to kill him!"
Raminor said, "Don't lie to us. We are empowered to motivate you to not
ever do that again." Abbot said, "Empowered?" I said, "God is truth. We
are required to support that. You lie to his representatives, we must
act." He said, "How do we know you speak the truth?" Raminor said,
"Have we said anything that wasn't completely truthful? You know you
have. The difference is obvious. We are unable to lie. That's a part of
our training to control ourselves and our abilities, which you should
be grateful for, considering what we could do to you."
I said to the boy, "Hamtrop, your skin is scraped where the ropes
were." He said, "Yes Master. It feels bad." Raminor said to the Abbot,
"Call to attend us, all who are injured, sick, or are in pain." I said,
"Now!" He jumped, and did that. Then there were more in the courtyard.
Raminor said to me, "Manchin should experience this." I said, "He
should maintain a projection at the school." Then Manchin appeared
beside us. I said to the startled Monks, "We don't live in this part of
the world. How else would we know to be here for our new student, and
actually come here in time? I will link all here, and then ask God to
heal you. My two senior students will participate in this. Then they
will be able to do this themselves." I said to the boys with a smile,
"You've been waiting for this. Now is the right time for your
introduction. There is a only one time for a first. You will treasure
this all the more, when you can do this for your own students."
I said, "Raminor and Manchin, link to me!" They did. We drew in
power, and glowed. I made them see our auras. We did a local love
broadcast. I reached for God, and showed the boys how to do that. God
came in and healed everybody. Then he said, "Solomon is my Senior
Prophet for all time and spaces. To love and obey him, is to love and
obey Me. Welcome Raminor and Manchin, the first students of Solomon of
this world!" I said to the boys, "You can talk to Him." Raminor said,
"Are you God?" God said, "Yes I am." Manchin said, "Does Solomon really
know everything?" God said, "He knows all I know, on the worlds he
visits. I have caused that, so his work for me would be as I will it."
He said, "Wow!" God said, "I hear that a lot, too. You will not hear my
voice in your own healing broadcasts, but you will feel my love for
you. I will hear you always." I said, "You didn't embarrass me too much
this time." He said with humor, "There will be other times!" He left,
and I stopped the broadcast.
Raminor said, "Wow!" I said, "Full agreement here. He's not addressed
a new student personally before, except once." He said, "Who did he
talk to?" I said, "It was in my first broadcast with my father. Yes, he
spoke to me. First time it happened like that. We were full of wows for
the rest of the day. I don't know, but I might have said them in my
sleep that night. Er, when I wasn't thinking of my future wife." Grins.
Manchin said, "How much did the healing go to?" I said, "It was for the
whole world. He did it regularly at that time." Abbot said, still
trying to recover his shock at what happened, "But this is new to us!"
I said, "True. Did you think our method of transportation was limited
to just one world? You heard what God said. All spaces, means all
worlds in them, too. The stars you see at night, are as suns to other
worlds. Many of them have people. Odd looking, though." Grins.
I said, "There still remains the resolution of this issue." Abbot
said, "I must protest. We didn't understand." I said, "That doesn't
excuse restraining him and intent to murder. You understood very well
what you were doing to him, all the more for knowing that what was
happening around him wasn't harming anybody. Whatever your ignorance,
that did NOT justify what you did and intended to do. This was YOUR
decision. You made it even after some showed their disagreement to you.
There needs to be a balance here. You are most at fault. You should
have a part in deciding what should happen for it." He said, "I can't
oppose your wisdom. I will leave this place, and wander the land alone,
in hope I will be forgiven in time, as I work to serve others. I hope
that this will help to lift the burden of shame this establishment has
assumed in my leadership. Will you spare the rest?" I said, "I will.
There will need to be a new leader here." He said, "That is true. I
know who it should be, but it should not be my decision now, as I am
not to be trusted in this." I said, "I am aware of it, and I agree with
your choice. You may state it." He said, "I would have chosen the one
of us here who has had the most er, exposure to your wisdom. He who you
met at the entrance. I see there is agreement, except from the one
chosen, who is just astounded."
I grinned at our friend, and said, "You know I have to like that." He
laughed, and said, "For one who likes to surprise people, you would
have to. You know I almost choked, trying not to laugh at your
accusations of eating people." I said, "Shocking people with the most
possible, makes less shocking things, while still shocking, much less
so in comparison, and so more easily discussed." He said, "I understood
that was what you were doing, soon after, and admired your skill in
that." Raminor said, "I was admiring him too, and with the same self
control issue." Manchin, "I was laughing loudly at home, to our new
students' mystification." I said, "I see the question. We can't travel
to what we can't see, and what we can see, we can apply our other
senses to."
I said, "We have other work to do. Parents! Manchin, later." He
nodded, and vanished. I said to Hamtrop, "Do you want to come to our
school, and learn to be all you can be?" He said, "I do!" I said,
"Well, that wasn't a surprise." Giggles. I said, "Our students who have
good parents, are good sons and daughters to them. We'll go to them
now." We bowed to the Monks, who then bowed to us. I ported us to
outside of the boy's home. I knocked on the door. The father opened it.
I said, "Greetings. I am Solomon. We should discuss the future of your
son, now that he can have one." He said, "What do you mean?" I said,
"That's why we need to have a discussion." He invited us in. His wife
was there with a little baby. We sat.
I said, "You sent your son to be cured of a problem." He said, "To
the holy people, yes." I said, "They could only think of one cure. We
prevented that." He said, "What was the cure! You shouldn't have
prevented it!" I said, "It was death." They stared at me in shock and
horror. I said, "When we entered that place, they had him tied to a
table, and had long knives in their hands over him. We engaged them in
a strange conversation. Well, the whole thing was strange. We convinced
person who decided that, is no longer there. He suffers for his
decision that others disagreed with." He said, "What did you do?"
Raminor said, "He used only words! They couldn't deny his wisdom."
Hamtrop said, "Then he healed everybody there and God came and talked
to us!" I said, "Hamtrop, please leave the story to the story teller
who starts it. We tell them to help others understand, not to confuse
them, even though we actually like to do that sometimes." He grinned.
Raminor said, "So true!" I said to the father, "Students!" He had to
smile. He said, "I see you're a very good teacher. Is what he said,
true?" I said, "The words are true, if not used in a way that gives you
an accurate sense of what happened. You can feel some of my love. I
extended that to all there, and then I invited God to join us to heal
all there. He did it, and said some things to us, not embarrassing me
as much as usual, and left. You know your son detects lies. I am unable
to lie." Hamtrop said, "That's true."
I said to them, "What you thought was a curse, is God's gift, but it
was uncontrolled. I have those same abilities, but with full control,
used in God's service. Hamtrop needs to learn this control, or he will
cause harm someday. I know you wouldn't want that to happen. I have a
school." He said, "Where is it?" I said, "Very far from here, but for
us, distance is not a concern. Hamtrop, do you want to tell him why?"
He said, "I do!" I said, "A little help, first. The story teller has to
always keep in his mind that the other person should not have to work
to understand the story. He wasn't there, so he didn't see it. You have
only words to paint that picture for him. It takes practice, but all
can learn to do this well. Now?" He said, "We were at the holy place,
and then we were outside our door, and there was no time between that.
When we were at the holy place, Master Solomon called to one of his
students to join him from their school, and he appeared right beside
us, out of the air, instantly! I have to say I was disappointed in not
feeling how it happened to me." I said, "Most say that. But they were
older. You did well!" We hugged.
Raminor stood, and ported around the room. The mother said, "Hamtrop
will learn to do that?" I said, "Which skills he will learn, we won't
know until they happen, but I think that one, yes. In two or three
years, usually. We will help him to visit you once a year, until he is
able to do it on his own. You know this should remain a secret. Other
people have knives, too, and a lot more fear of the unusual. Some of
our possible students haven't survived long enough for us to rescue
them." They saw our tears, and added their own. I said, "We use our
unusual abilities in service to others, mostly unknown, not for our own
advancement. We are unable to lie or act unjustly. We are unable to
kill people. We train in the physical ability to do that, for health,
and self protection, but we can't have the desire to kill. All that is
part of the training."
He said, "You teach fighting skills? Good!" I said, "We teach the
whole person. Skills of the body are part of that. So is surviving. We
don't want to waste our efforts on soon to be dead students. In that
condition, they don't pay attention well." Raminor laughed. Then they
did. He said, "He likes to engage people's minds by those little
twists." I said to him, "Unexpected, works better, which you knew, and
just reduced." He said, "Oops?" We grinned and hugged. Hamtrop was
looking back and forth at us, and grinning widely. I said to the
parents, "You can feel our love for each other. It's part of who we
are." Hamtrop said, "They could all feel it at the holy place. They
love everybody, even bad people!" I said, "So you noticed that. Good.
The more you see, the less we have to show you. But then, there is
always more." He said, "Good!" I said, "If you come to our school."
Mother said, "You wouldn't just take him?" I said, "Our students who
have good parents, must be good sons and daughters to them." Hamtrop
said to them, "He said that to me."
I said, "That means, if you say no, he doesn't come. But we know what
you've already decided." We exchanged smiles. Mother said, "May we have
a few days to say our farewells?" I said, "Yes, but the longer you do
that, the more difficult that will be. And so more painful, which would
cause our teaching to be less effective for a while." Raminor said,
"For dangerous things, clear minds are essential." I said to him, "That
one was helpful. Thank you." He grinned. He said to them, "He said that
to me, to give you time to recover from what he said, without him
staring at you." I said to him, "Not that one." They all laughed.
I said, "My senior student is with me in this mission, to learn to do
them himself. It seems he wants to show me how much he's learning, a
little earlier than absolutely necessary." Grins. Father said, "It's
best for him to leave for your school now?" I said, "Yes. But we will
understand if that's not your decision. Our love for you will never be
less." Mother said through her tears, "He may go now." I said, "After
hugs. Can't have too many of those." Smiles. They did it, and then
Raminor and I hugged them. She said, "You ARE holy!" I said, "As your
son will be." We ported to the school, to a lot more hugs, and a lot of
love.
