I would say so, yes. The focal plane is through the eyes (as
you'd expect) which takes the viewer naturally to the face, then
the strong colour lines of the sleeves take you downwards and
frame the torso. The rest of the shot is out of focus because of
the narrow depth of field. The whole effect if lovely and full of
interest (at lots of levels).
