Such language, really! Ha.
I've not subscribed to Facebook or that Twitter business ... seeing
public officials quoted from their sites is more than enough to
dissuade any temptation to indulge.
I do value both this venue and email and, as you can surmise, have
long enjoyed writing correspondence the old-fashioned way. When one
reviews the letters of the past, I think one is struck by the artistic
word-craft which generally characterises them, something that seems to
have completely vanished nowadays. One has not simply the time, but
the luxury, to carefully communicate ... to say what one means.
