Dear La Nilo:
Idolatry is simply putting something between you and God. It can be
an idol, a person that keeps you from becoming what God called you to
be, drugs, alcohol, sex, gambling, your job, etc. The only thing that
God has allowed to come between His children and Himself is our Lord
Jesus Christ Whom is the Mediator between man and God.
