It was a joke for Uncle Davey. But actually, now that you say that, I must
admit that I have always assumed that but never really given it due
consideration. It could very well be that someone who hasn't learned how to
count to four can have deep philosophical and theological insights. I think
this somewhat resembles the problem whether people who have never learned
how to talk (say wolf children) can really think and reason well. I don't
know if that has ever been researched, how language and the ability to
reason are connected.
