You are selling Davey, in fact your doing a foot in the door heavy sell
on your religion.
I guess you don't see that if a religion is worthwhile it will soon be
taken up by people who have actually sought it out and want to know more
about it.
Pagans and wiccans don't sell, don't convert, don't preach and don't
push, and people are lining up to know more about it.
Why do you suppose that is Davey. Perhaps partly its because we don't
offer salvation on a plate, we say if you want it work for it.
We don't go in for a heavy sell, and promise " Only one true way "
We say their are as many paths as their are people.
Before you carry on with this childish attack on the pagan groups,
perhaps you might think again, If your religion is so super that that
everyone should fall over themselves to sign up, then why are their no
takers on this newsgroup. ?
Do you suppose we have not heard it all before, every possible
combination of "You cant miss this once in a life time offer "
Every one of you with a different version of Christianity, and when you
see pagans walk a personal path you think it odd.
How odd do you think we find Christians who fight among themselves for
who has the real true and one and only Christianity...
How do you suppose it looks when we see one Christian denomination
calling others the devils tools, or stating that they are not true
Christians because the only true Christians are us.
Wake up.

I suggest you do jettison it, it tends to put the hairs up on the back
of my neck...
>Sure I love kids, and grown up people to.
>
>I'm just an avuncular sort of person.
Do you have any idea of how many avuncular men use that title to get
kids to trust them, or are you using it like Santa clause to lure
children into Christianity.
The strong impression I get from all you Christian salesmen is that your
trying to prop up your own faltering faith by converting others,
Its not a points system.

>Would you have preferred an academic title?
I would have preferred no title at all, this is usenet, I could add a
few letters after my own name, But why bother, after all everyone can
say they are anyone on this medium, titles don't matter its not who you
say you are, but who you actually turn out to be.
Right at this moment you have a lot in common with the guy who keeps
trying to sell me double glazing on the phone, and who never takes any
notice when I tell him my house is fully double glazed, thank you.
