I agree and have much the same view. There are some who have become
reprobate, void of judgement, who have thinking patterns hot wired or
seared into wrong doing whether it be homosexuality or some other sin.
They rationalize their behavior and seek those who agree with them in
their beliefs. Those who do not agree with them are insane or bad or
assigned a label. Everybody is crazy, but those who hold their views
and who participate in their behavior.
I have spent quite a bit of time with Jerry trying to explain that
homosexuals are simply people with a sin nature that has taken
precedent in their lives. Many have become idolaters worshipping the
creation rather than the Creator to what end - the end of the line.
They can not reproduce, can not continue the progeny the proper way
and resort to proselytizing to continue their line.
It is so sad to see people who are wonderful people trapped in a form
of slavery, addicted to a biological function that triggers chemical
changes in their body that trick them into feeling loved. But for the
grace of God we too could have been lured into it. As you said, we
all have sin natures that mess up our lives in different ways. The
difference is those who are convicted, become sorrowful and repent
receive deliverance and forgiveness while those who glory in their sin
do not.
