I understand what you're saying, Davey. You and I know that marriage is a
covenant between humans and God. Some have forgotten, though.
I suppose the way that people want to invent their own covenant by changing
God's covenant is similar to the way people choose to trust some version of
God on their own terms. The same thing has happened since Cain offered a
sacrifice of vegetables to God. It was not what He had ordained and it did
not please Him.
