Being a Christian means that you trust Christ for your salvation.
You don't stop being part of the Jewish nation. Jews who don't yet
trust Christ are trusting something else for their salvation, probably
works, and works don't work. They are like the kids of Christians who
are not yet converted, they have a blessing via their parentage, but
do not yet know personal salvation. They need to know Christ, who,
being a Jew himself, will not make them one iota less Jewish than they
were before they knew him.
