It depends on whether or not you associate creationism with proud,
willful ignorance. If you do, then no, you're not supposed to know that.
Indeed, the less you know, the better a creationist you are.
On the other hand, Behe is the only half-credible scientist (though a
rather mediocre one at that) to come up and say that SOME things HAD to
have been intelligently designed by... (well, he stops well short of
saying what). Behe is your sole, slim chance at respectability, but even
he believes that we descend from apes.
