Nice book, especially chapter 3. I did some searching on Google after
seeing the first installment to see if I could find more info on this guy.
In the process I found the entire book posted on the website below.
Some parts of it almost read like a How-To manual although the info is
kind of dated since there are so few hitchhikers anymore. I guess the
same idea could be applied to mall rats though.

Roast
(In the British posession where I once lived the term Roast Dog was used
as slang for gays and the term Roast was the corresponding adjective.
I can't find any other reference to this word usage though. But maybe
I misunderstood the chopped English used by these people... it may have
been Roost Dog which I do find reference to in some places).
