Hey JoeJoe,
As a downloader, you are at the mercy of the posters. The posters will
post when, what, where, and how they choose to. You, as a downloader
of their gifts, must find a way to decode the files you'd like to see.
The decoding is your responsibility. I suggest that you go to
www.forte.com and download the FREE version of Agent newsreader. Free
Agent will automatically decode the yEnc files for you. X-news does as
well, I am given to understand. I believe that X-News is also a free
reader.
By posting yEnc encoded files Alexi can save bandwidth, allowing him
to post MORE stuff. Most news service providers will limit your daily
posting or your monthly posting to a certain amount. If Alexi can post
more stuff each day and each month that benefits YOU doesn't it?
