Yes indeed, Anders, the good times that we all had. The good vibes,
the shared stories, the witty exchanges & the general coming together
in love & friendship. And now we are left with empty tables & upturned
chairs. I sometimes feel like the lachrymose Old Testament prophet,
Jeremiah, when he wrote his doleful "Book of Lamentations". How has
the gold gone dim & the goodly colour faded!
People normally attach themselves to a newsgroup where they find
kindred spirits & pleasurable company, & goods on offer, & to which
they themselves have something of value to contribute, & they observe
the NG etiquette, or go elsewhere. It's difficult to understand the
cankered mind-set of the trolls who, as you said here earlier, "kill
it for the rest of us". Like litter-louts, who live only to trash the
world around them in their selfish disregard for all others. I've
tried my best in afp with about 15 vids in as many days,two more last
night, but for the silence that follows , I could just as well be
posting to an empty room.
Any rate, on a brighter & breezier note, thanks for "Green sea".
Brings back memories, & I'm sure I can read, in the reefed sails, the
calm sea, & the youngsters, just as God designed them, scampering up
the rigging to prepare the Galleon for "full speed a-head", surely I
can read signs in that of a more optimistic tomorrow. So keep cheering
us up, we few survivors. LOL.
Well, that's my take on things. And what more proof could you hope for
of the survival of the fittest than that little Mephi from the London
Blitz & the Nunnery Orphanage is still going strong today. LOL
