Will see if I can find a picture .

The Portsmouth sail loft where you slept - surely a feeling of great
history, of great deeds done, of sacrifice and a continuity with the
past ? Also, perhaps, of a room just been vacated but the occupants left
something not quite tangible of themselves behind ? Sort of, the Victory
is there but where is the crew and the feeling that they are there close
by ?

My take on old places that have seen great events so please forgive my
rambling on.
