The Ride

Some may tell you a tale of the longest time when dragons roamed the sky and
earth. Little do they know a time in which, dragons ruled our hearts. Only, but
a dream it seems falling in love with a dragon, some called it only a tale of
two star crossed lovers looking at each other from far away, but one fell love
with a dragon. Many a time did they ride on the wind, her on his back, feeling
the wind wip around her. "Have you seen the moon this close before" he aksed her
a top the highest point. " No never like this" she said in reply to his heart
felt delight, it seemed for a short time they sat there looking at the moon and
stars, counting each time a shooting star feel and the wish two lovers just like
them were making that night. Time seemed so far away for them. Soon she feel
asleep on his back, hearing her breath it remined him of how it felt to have
someone to love. As with all stories of the heart, this one two did not last.
Love may conqure all they say, but for these two lovers of the heart, nothing
ha! s wither away. Her father found her the next day asleep on her lovers back
and without a thought killed his daughter's lover, in her agony she cried and
killed herself or so they say, still more say she was turned into that which she
loved, some will say she flyes by the night, a little one on her back, testing
the wind to fly.So long ago it might seem, when two lovers look at the moon, but
if you look sky ward you can see, her flying or else her child's child testing
the wind.
