Let us all also remember that were it not for the French saving George
Washington's ass by sinking the British navy in Chesapeake Bay, those of
us who speak the uninflected dialect of English might well have to
listen to the Queen's Birthday speech every year and sing that mournful
dirge that accompanies it. So ease off on anti-American, anti-French
crap -- most French people are very nice and one might say that of most
Americans (excepting many overpaid bloviacs in Washington D.C.). Every
nation on earth has a group of vocal assholes - don't judge the rest by
them.
