Hey Yu-No,
This picture reminds me of an old swimming hole I used to visit.
It was a river. Turns out that not a 100 yards or so from where we always swam
was the nesting/spawning grounds of some very large and numerous alligator gars.
After learning that I was always surprised there were never any incidents.
