I think I've already expressed my involvement with music enough times
to make anybody gag... hehe... Chet was, by birth, pure country. REAL
country. He grew from there into every facet of music. Ultimately, it
could be the classics, jazz, rock, bluegrass, you name it. He played
it, and with a style that was pure Chet. He was one-of-a-kind.

The French Horn, in the right hands, is indeed a mellow and very sweet
instrument. Do *not*, however, ever hand one to me with the
expectation of music. I'm not too shabby when it comes to strings, and
fretboards, and even keyboards, but blowing into things, with the
intent of making music, isn't on the list of things I do well at all.

I have only a few of Chet's CDs. Most of what I have is on my Dad's
old vinyl, dating back to essentially day one, and on tapes I've made
from those discs. (Giggle if you will, but for anyone who knows
whereof I speak, there's a mint Revox A77 in the equipment stack in
the living room. Heheheheeeee...)
Be assured that I'll be snagging everything you post, and I'll be
appreciating every bit of it.
