My Dear Wing-ed one.
No worries at all mate. Many thanks for all of the memories that you
have given me.
Just got to thinking about a special childhood friend, well, very
special if yer know those times.
We were just kids trying to stuff a 283 V-8 into an Austin Healey,
sweating in the daytime, and sleeping at night in each others arms,
listening to the Drifters sing "Up on the Roof", and the nightime
activities not to be discussed or even alluded to in the daylight.
In the end, the AH was the fastest thing we had ever seen, and we
became the fastest of friends till the war.
In the words of Bob Hope, "Thanks for the memories"
