Now that I am back from where I went, & currently half the man I was
before I left., thanks to the generosity of my drinking companions &
the inordinate charms of the groovy chicks behind the bar, I have
eventually got round to d.l-ing the Johny Cash album.
I am, however, greatly perplexed about this latest posting of yours &
all attempts on my part to understand the cause of this underlying
confusion has exercised my mind to the point of exhaustion. I wonder
if you can shed any light on it.
Having by now got you wondering which half of my brain I left behind
once I returned from where I was, let me explain. Put simply, not a
single song title that comes up on screen when the singer belts forth
has the remotest connection with what is actually being sung. Not your
fault, but misinformation seems to have been embedded in the track.
03 which announces itself as "Darlin' Companion" is instead "I walk
the line".
04 "Starkville City Jail is actually the "Darlin' one
05 "San Quentin" is "Starkville..........
While the catchy & popular San Quentin is actually Track 6
Then 07.."Wanted Man" ain't what it says on the tin, but San Qu
repeated.
And so it goes on..........I guess you can say I'm flummoxed. LOL
No reflection on your generosity or competence, my good friend, so
take it not amiss, or the half of me I've brought back will weep
copiously.
