Well...see...free speech is a right, not a privilege.
Usenet, on the other hand...that's a bit different.
I have to believe that if this thing could be removed, it would be. It
has clearly forfeited its usenet privileges in many ways over a broad
spectrum of groups, not merely the ones where illegal stuff is going on.
My guess is that it won the lottery some years back and owns its own
usenet server now.
This would explain:
1. Why it appears to have nothing else to do but frolic like a
malevolent minstrel in pedo newsgroups.
2. Why WebTV has not removed it from its service (it's not really on
WebTV).
3. Why it so brazenly continues to do things with impunity what would
surely violate nearly any of the premium usenet providers.
Rest assured, I am buying lottery tickets every week and when I win, I
will hire a team of hackers to locate and destroy this cancer.
Meanwhile, it has the right to free speech, even though it is clearly
not able to think rationally.
