Hey Watcher,
You're not being thick, you're just inexperienced. You'll need
TrueCrypt, which is freeware. www.truecrypt.org There is a lot of
useful information at the website. Instructions on how to run the
program are in the help files.
The secret to finding keyfiles, passwords and other things is to
carefully read the text posts that the posters provide. NP-g17 is a
particularly clever poster in that he uses multiple media as clues.
EVERYTHING he posts has a significance. So pay close attention to what
he has posted.
The clues he has given will lead you to another newsgroup entirely. In
that group you must read all the text files to find what you're
looking for. Be intuitive! But be warned, NP-g17 is not responsible
for you understanding or figuring out his clues. Asking for more hints
simply tells him that you weren't paying close enough attention the
first time. Do not aggravate the posters by asking for hint after
hint. Just READ and pay attention.
Now if you're paying attention you will notice that I've given you
three new hints. Don't get frustrated you WILL get the hang of it.
