What a lovely day you had & thanks for telling us about it. I confess
that I always thought pheromones were to do with moths so the first
thing I did was check it out on Wiki. It's quite informative but
really we don't seem to know an awful lot about the role of human
pheromones.
I can add a small observation: one morning a 16 year old friend came
to my door. He had spent the night with a friend and was on his way
home. I gave him a lift via MacD's and in the car noticed the smell of
a slept-in shirt - he had spent the night on his friend's sofa. This
smell was nothing to do with the usual "smelly" bits of the body so
maybe he was giving me a present of his pheromones - it certainly was
a pleasant smell.
Sadly there is not much chance of further investigation around my way
as the boys tend to shower and change their clothes every day. They
smell of shower gel, hair gel, anti-perspirant, body spray and
after-shave(!); some of them even round things off by spraying body
spray on top of their clothes.
I have been thinking of doing a part time postgrad degree. I wonder if
any college would accept "Pheromone Production in the Teenage Male at
the Moment of Orgasm"? :)
