What a great story, Doc! I can relate too as I recently attended a
high school play that my twin nephews were in. There were a number of
boys in the "chorus" that were actually middle school students, and of
course there were a number of boys that, although they were high
schoolers, they certainly didn't appear old enough to be in high
school. After the play ended, the entire cast came out to greet their
family and friends who came out to support them. The middle school
boys seemed particularly active, and tended to run around in small
packs. The smells in that auditorium were, dare I say, delicious.
Gosh, I wish I were 10 again... ;-)
