Indeed he did have the face of an angel. As I mentioned, Murphy's
Romance is one of my fave movies of his. He didn't have a big part in
it, but when he was on screen, he captivated the viewer's attention.
Aside from that, it's a great story and well-acted by James Garner,
Sally Field, Brian Kerwin, et al. Of course, I loved him in Lucas (who
of us could ever forget the infamous shower scene!) and The Lost Boys
remains my favorite vampire movie - though I'm not a fan of the genre
itself.
And my dear Doc - who else would wonder if he could have helped a boy
like Corey or River but you. Except for me. And I have often wondered
if I could have made a difference.
So many young actors (and actresses) have gone down that same path of
destruction: Jack Wild, Mark Lester, Adam Rich, Brian Bonsall, Danny
Bonaduce, Todd Bridges, Dana Plato, Brad Renfro - just to mention a
few.
