I don't think we should put too much trust in Google's header info. I
checked that and it showed an ISP. It could be regional or national or
local server.
I don't think it matters anyway. I thought from the start that no real
young boy would choose an email account name that actually said he is
young. All kids want to look and be older. Most adults don't remember
how it was when they were kids and forget this when they want to play
at bait. I'm closer to being a kid than most posters here and I work
with kids so I remember but I also have to remember I could be wrong so
I treated him as real and I think we should still do it. With cautions
naturally.
I think we should think about what message we are sending to future
kids who post by how suspicious and untrusting we look. And how
downright ungentle. That has been one of my main concerns here.
