RE flash files PART3.txt
Sorry to hear that you are have issues with .flv files.
Browser can be problems when playing big flash files.
I would suggest running a program besides a browser that can run flash files. I have a
few on my system because I have adobe master collection, I would suggest for everyone
else to use VideoLan aka "VLC player" at http://www.videolan.org/ it plays all files
including damaged files etc. Its the best player that I have on my system and will come
in handy when using newgroup movies.
Sorry for the text file, but using Yenc Poster and you need a file to send etc..
tty all later,
DEXTER
hi thanks for your input and reply
i use mplayerc and or vlc to play flv files
it is not players or browsers it is the flv file that was donwloaded using firefox
download video plugin it did something to the flv files
I downloaded videos from 2 differant sites in flv form and had same troubles
it is the way it converted thm into flv that caused the troubles
I wanted to warn downloaders of the files i posted in case they get as frustrated
as i did, because it too me way too long to figure it out but no time to fix it
since there wasn't that many files.
rexplained:
the flv files I posted to 2 differant ngs the flv files do play but does soemthing
to windows systems, it caused usages resources to go way up and stay way up.
it affects windows explorer also, cause explorer to either freeze or will not
load contantes of folders and is just a mess
if anyoen has downloaded these files I posted and think they are ok try this
in windows XP click ctrl alt and delete windwos task manger will open
click the performance tab and check the cpu usage and see if usage is higher
then it should be? that is with out anything else running,
in windows vista ctrl alt and delete another windwo will open may ask permissions first
then click task manger get same thing.
best to check cpu usage a few minutes after fresh reboot then go to folder
with the flv files i posted see if usage has changed and not returned back to
near 0, if has good now click to play usage will go up and when you turn it off
will stay up and won't go down, if this happenneds then yes files are bad
if you try and delete them and they won't the yes files are bad
lik I said before the files play fine but the way firefox converted them
has an issue with windows system and can cause you lots of troubles
again sorry for the troubles but needed to inform those who do have this trouble
this is only the flv files I posted recently week begining dec.12,2009 in afp and tommy ng
to fix the problem please read first 2 txt files
