By safe it depends on what you are going to post?

I see you have Giganews, so if you stick with non-nude you should be ok,
If Giganews know who you are and have a valid address then do not post
anything illegal or you will have problems.
Remember to set agent to connect to news.giganews.com :563
For USA or the european server if it's the nearest!
The :563 will force agent to make a secure connection with the news
server which will keep your ISP screened.
If you have managed to pay Giganews with an anonymous payment method and
then only connect and post via a secure proxy server to screen your IP
address then you may be safer.
