Hey N-O-R,
From your description of the process it sounds as if you missed a
step. The Post05 files must be joined before extracting using WinRar.
Step One- Make sure you have all of the files (.000-.067) and all the
par files (Post-05.rar.par2- Post-05 Vol5+1.par2) All of these files
should be in the same folder.
Step Two- Using Quickpar, Click Open, navigate to the proper folder
and select the Post-05.rar.par2 file. Quickpar will get down to work
to determine if enough files are available to repair the archive.
Step Three- If you have enough of the files Quickpar will offer you a
chance to Repair the archive. Click Repair. Quickpar rebuilds your
archive.
Step Four- Inside your folder you will now have a file called
Post-05.rar. Doubleclick on that file. Your 'puter should
automatically start WinRar. If not, it will prompt you to select a
program to open the file. WinRar will likely be among the choices, if
not navigate to the WinRar folder and choose winrar.exe.
Step Five- WinRar will have a peek inside the archive and show you
what is there, probably a folder. Select Extract and you will be
prompted for the password. Enter the password and WinRar will create a
new folder with archive's contents inside. Voila!
