We don't make rules here. We have no way to enforce any. The few rules
there are here are made by the companies who manage the newsgroups
servers.
Anyway, the Founder of the Fort said there is only one rule:
"There are no rules!" LOL
We have a problem here. Neither you or Edik communicate with English
very well. This causes misunderstandings. We need to remember this
before we accuse people of saying bad things. Edic has already said he
likes "insane", and they are still friendly to each other. All any
other posters can do about this now, is to keep arguing about it, and
make it worse. Sometimes interfering with a personal dispute is not a
good thing, when we don't understand ALL that is involved.
I agree hurtful posts are bad. I don't want them here. But there is
this. Why should what I want, rule here? Or what you want? Do any of us
have the power to make people not post hurtful things? No we don't. If
we complain and tell them to stop, will that make it better or worse?
Most of the time it just makes arguments, which is worse.
What can we do that is useful?
We can do nothing. This is better than making things worse.
We can say we don't like it, and ask how we can help people do better.
We can DO things that make the Fort a better place, so people won't
have reasons to be angry with other people. This is what I try to do.
What do you do, and what will you do, now that I've explained this to
you?
