Hi icicle.
That history of the fort is dead. Its gone. We act in the present and
*we* are making history here for the future. What will it be? It comes
from what we do and how we do it. Not why. Actions create history not
motivations. Our future selves and new fort visitors won't care about
why only what people did to make the fort be as they see it and not
much of that either. We will be judged only by what they see we did.
What will history say about you? I hope it will be good but from where
I sit (with your multiple names fighting a lot) it doesn't look too
promising.
In the Inquisition the Church "saved" people from the "Devil" and cults
by torturing and killing them.
If you want to know why I wrote that here (I would! LOL) I'll tell you.
It could apply to the fort situation in principle. Please think about
what we could feel about the Inquisition and why most of us think it
was wrong. Then I'll sum this up in one sentence how it could relate to
what you are doing.
Sometimes we can go too far and make the cure worse than the disease.
Please think about it.
