Hey Nicky,
By all means do your research! You have much to learn and most of what
you have to learn is about keeping yourself safe. Grant brought up an
excellent point that I wish I had brought up. Part of your security
will involve keeping those whom you live with safe as well. If and
when you look at images from this group they will be on your computer.
One of the first questions you should ask yourself is who else might
be able to see these photos? Don't answer here, just think about it.
If you have a little sister for example, would she be in danger of
stumbling across something you've downloaded? If so, what would the
consequences be for her and you?
There are a lot of things to consider. You are safest by going away
now, right? But, IF you stay, common sense can help more than
anything. Trust NO ONE, including me. As you read the posts and see
what everyone is about you can draw your own conclusions. There are a
lot of good folks here and there are a few bad eggs. Take your time
and sort things out.
I will post The Fort FAQ for you. It is a work in progress, but it
represents some of the best advice we can give you here. I'll be
watching in case you have questions.
Stay Safe,
Doc
