KH isn't here and won't come back as long as you attack posting of good
security advice which he supports. He left because of all the personal
attacks going on and it hurt him to see the fort he loved so much
(saved his life when he joined) reduced to a stupid catfight group.

So why do I support him now? Because I support any post of good

No I was not among them. I'm not sure of the time frame but I was
probably fighting a *real* war then for my (and your) country and lost
buddies and parts of me so *you* can be free to do all this. It looks
like you recovered from your little battle (if it was) but I never will
recover from mine.

I'll let you know when I lecture. I haven't yet just asked.
I am who I was and that made me the man I am now. Just like everybody
else. The fort saved my life when I was a kid. I was going to kill
myself but found the fort and other people like me and learned to live
with who I am. I credit some of the people of the fort for helping save
me again when I came back with depression and PTSD. I could get help
from Army shrinks for PTSD but I couldn't tell them I'm a BL. Again the
fort (mostly counseling from Y Not and friendship with other posters
like DS) helped me live again.

share my good fortune with you all here but I can try to help the fort
people stay free long enough to have a chance at a good life. The fort
and its people saved me twice. I owe the fort all the little help I can
give it.

I do *NOT* agree with Doc calling you LEA even though you look like it
when you tell people to ignore good security advice. He should leave
personal attacks to you and stay above that sort of thing.
There is something you both haven't thought of about posting web links.
I'm sure LEA has a list of *all* the links ever posted in the groups
and they watch those sites and record who goes there. We assume some
visitors to those sites start from places not from our groups. They can
filter those out by selecting for individuals (IP addresses and records
of who held them) who visit *most* of the posted links. The result
would show mostly fort visitors and I'm sure they know it. Now you know
how THEY KNOW WHO AMONG US CLICKS ON THOSE POSTED LINKS.
You may ask "so they know. what's the big deal"? In some countries (not
the US *yet*) it is criminal offense just to *visit* a web site that
has anything illegal (their laws are different than ours about that
too) on it and can get them arrested and their computers taken and info
on them can lead to some US posters too. This has happened. Do you
really want to be responsible for our people ignoring good security
advice and going to prison? I hope not but it looks like you do. Please
change your mind about this.
There is something I will say again. We never really know who posts
here. Impostors could post web links in the names of well known BLs
(again. they have before) and we might never know the difference. Just
this reason alone (if we have to ignore all the other more technical
reasons) is good enough justification not to click on them. I hope you
can agree.
I don't think I have anything left to tell you about this except I hope
we can be friends not enemies. *All* of us.
