It's funny that you posted this because I've been thinking the same
thing about ESPN. They are devoting a great deal of resources to
televising the LLWS coverage - even pre-empting MLB games (as they did
Monday night) in order to show the entire LLWS game. I also laughed
when I read what you said about Orel making that comment about what a
good looking kid that was. I was literally thinking the same thing
myself when I heard - or thought I heard - Orel say that. I had to
rewind my dvr to make sure I heard someone else say the words I was
thinking.
Agreed, the pitcher for Mexico was indeed a very handsome lad, on all
levels. And I too really don't care who wins - they're all winners in
my book!
Also, am I the only one that's always wondered what all goes on up at
"the Grove" where all the boys stay - with no parents? I just
wonder...
