I don't really know. I do know that the Fort had at least one
variation in the numbering scheme such as "Green Death AFP ic^"
I was never too much interested in the so called Fort ID numbers
because my Fort mentor didn't have one. My Fort mentor was Pester.

I don't know. It seemed that there was always a steady flow
of new BL newsgroups being created and with others being
abandoned. Lots of the BL newsgroup movement was based
on problems of connecting servers from around the world to them.
