Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
As recently appointed Keeper of the Flame, it is my honour to dispense
my first Official Fort Badge! I have given a lot of thought to how to
go about this. As consecutive Keepers have made their announcements,
the protocol has been to change NP letters with each new Keeper. So in
keeping with tradition I will issue a fresh new series of Badge
Numbers. In looking at the spiral notebook at young Tommy's scrawling
it appears that there was never a 'D' series of Badges issued. Seeing
as how I am Doc, the Dude With the Hair, I think it would be cool to
have a 'D' Series of Badges.
Now, my first Badge is going to a long time lurker who has been around
nearly as long as me. He is VERY bashful, but is learning more and
more about security and I hope one day he will grace us with some
posts. I think you'd all enjoy his delightful personality.
So gentleboys and gentlemen greet our newest Fort member, let's have a
BIG Fort welcome for:
