The thing which pisses myself off towards nth factor and beyond is
that most human beings under thirty have not a clue about
the various influences which brought American society into an age of
enlightenment. I mean, dig this:
Most kids of the Present Day are not aware of the more liberal times
of the seventies into the early eighties, when half of all kids in
high school would
experiment at least once or twice with marijuana, and drink and smoke
tobacco on a routine basis. When pot was a form of freedom, versus
being viewed as a dangerous drug. When John Lennon was a real vital
being upon this Earth, instead of a part of history.
I am often sad about how the world seems out of touch with the past. I
am also depressed about how much that In God We Trust is just a slogan
for dollar bills, not a true value of spirituality. And how computers
are often viewed as a form of INTELLIGENCE, versus just another stupid
machine.
