There are such things as colored contacts, Doc! I can't be positive
and I freely admit it. In some pictures, I'm certain that it isn't
Taddy. In others -- I think it's gotta be him! And yes, there are
subtle differences, but those could be easily explained by the
difference in age -- the other pictures of Taddy were of a Taddy
entering pubescence; this is clearly an adult Taddy -- if it is, in
fact, Taddy.
Look, it could go either way. But I should like to point out the way
that Liam O'Kane changed once he hit his growth spurt. I wouldn't have
recognized him as him! Not that he became any less beautiful, but the
whole structure of his face changed, especially with the loss of the
baby fat on those adorable chipmunk cheeks! Even his hair changed with
puberty! And my only regret -- for I don't begrudge him his adulthood
-- is that Prizeman didn't record his every utterance! I would listen
to that boy sleeping! I wish I had the chance to let him know how much
his music means to me! For that matter, I would love the chance to
tell all of them, Stephen Geraty, Ben Crawley, Michael Fincastle, Tom
Cully, Ed Day, Joseph Platt -- all of them how much their music has
meant to a burned-out old fart who thought his faith was dead. And to
think, the very first MP3 I ever downloaded was Anthony Way singing
How Can I Keep from Singing!
I always thought that Ben Crawley's voice was like a violin; Joseph
Platt reminded me of a flute -- and then they combined on Do Not Stand
at My Grave and Weep, and I felt chills!
