And Hi back at you, Doc
No need to exercise yourself on my account though it's always nice to
see you around & hear from you. And of course I know you have the
survival of the Fort always uppermost in your mind & I think I have
more than played my part in redeeming it last February from the
spammers & restoring it a little way to what it was.
Nonetheless one needs to bear in mind, in spite of the self-serving
noises emanating from certain quarters & their tiresome conviction of
their own importance, that people do not come here to read text posts,
or to idolise a vanished goblin, still less to be preached at. It's
the posting of binary material that people pop in to pick up. If it's
good & plentiful, they'll come. If not, it'll go the way of asparagus
& countless others. And no FAQ will change that. Do not take that
remark amiss. It's only pointing out the obvious.
I wish you well in your various collaborations. Meantime I will carry
on & do the best I can.
Warm regards,
Mephi
