Note the difference in the way Jason and Jonathon are drawn:
Jonathon's face -- eg, the eyes -- is considerably more 'realistic'
than Jason's, which uses Edlund's regular 'cartoon' style. This
'realistic' style is, I believe, used only for Jonathon.
The comic 'How To Be A Rockstar' relates their first meeting --
at which Jason is instantly smitten with Jonathon.
