I most wholeheartedly agree, but assure you that it was not intentional.
The program check-box which determines whether Ghost and Image are to be
suppressed defaults to *yes*, and its final state is not saved at program
exit: thus this supression has to be explicitly turned off every time a
puzzle is exported -- and I didn't.
Now chastened and wiser, I promise to be gooder in future.
