Yenc doesn't have anything to do with it. Computer illiterate people
don't run usenet servers.
Like every other service they only look at posts when somebody
complains so your safe until they get a complaint about you again and
next time they might not accept the same credit card and address (and
IP address) to pay for a new account.
Astraweb is different than some other servers in one way. They tell you
why they cancel your account and they say what other action they will
take about it but its possible to reason with them about it (somebody
did that) but they don't give your account back.
Please believe me you are not the only astraweb poster this has
happened to. They are serious about this and can make some bad trouble
for you if you keep doing what they don't like and the trolls keep
turning you in. Technically legal or illegal doesn't make much
difference when you are exposed to your family and friends and LEA
takes your computer (for keeps) to "investigate" you.
I agree posting zipped pics is better which is why I used to do it that
way sometimes.
Good luck.
