Thanks for this. In the URL posted earlier today by insane for boys,
which directed me to the site, it does say he was performing at 5
years old-- but I agree with you about the post I made as he does look
somewhat older. Still I remember grabbing off YouTube long time ago
several amazing Mozart piano recitals by a Chinese nipper who was
smaller than his stool (That's the 3-legged thing you sit on, not the
medical term...LOL)
Mind you, he IS Chinese, LOL, & at best they are an inscrutable bunch.
We've just witnessed armies of them wheeled in for the Olympics. And
apart from the fact that they are dragooned into specialist schools
from an early age as soon as they can say "Chairman Mao", with their
draconian policy of but one child per family it is understandable that
the parents will push their one & only treasure to the limits.
They certainly have some outstanding prodigies. Don't know if you ever
saw the mind-blowing piano recital by Lang Lang I posted somewhere
about a year ago, which I captured live in hi-def off TV.
But Mother Rooney's Knickers, that's some list you've got!!!!!! If you
could select a couple of them for posting I'd be quite grateful. Here
or the other place will do.
