Hello Awake,
I have been in contact with a boylover who has been seeking help in
connecting with a boy he knows. I helped him in making an initial
contact, but the more I hear from the BL, the more I suspect that his
motivation may easily move beyond the altruistic to more self
indulgent activities. The trouble is the guy I know is truly lonely.
The boy involved clearly seeks a man in his life. I have made my
position clear to my BL friend that the boys needs must always come
first. I fear in his desperation the guy may push too hard, and to be
honest he's already a bit of a target in the town where he lives.
Do you have any suggestions on how I might reinforce the message that
the boy should come first, that self preservation should also come
first, and how he might find a way to fit his love for boys together
with a boy who needs him without endangering anyone and meeting
everyone's needs?
