The interesting thing is that idiots and bigots (I know, redundant!)
should think that pedophilia is some kind of disease that needs to be
cured. It is not; it is a statement describing sexual attraction.
On the other hand, if CHILD MOLESTERS are kept away from children,
then that's a good thing. But the most telling statement is "We've
done that because we believe that many of the pedophiles are
simply incurable," a statement that flies in the face of validated
research showing that persons convicted of sexual crimes against
children RARELY repeat their offenses while persons convicted of other
criminal acts FREQUENTLY repeat their offenses or other offenses.
