If there was ever a person who deserved to die, this creep is that person,
but still, I find the willful taking of a human life to be questionable.
He was out of harms way, not currently causing suffering, why kill him?
Revenge? A negative goal. Punishment? Death is too easy.
This is not a pacifist argument. I would have no problem with popping one of
the many despots currently killing thousands or wreaking havoc and death
among his people (Mugabe, The Sudan government, bin Laden, etc.) but once
the person is corralled, why kill him?
Because he killed others? I don't think if someone steals from you that
makes it ok to steal from him.
The video was interesting to those who have never seen someone die in front
of their eyes. I have, more than once, viewed that scene and all it does is
disturb me. His death also disturbed me...
Maybe it's me. I seem to be out of the mainstream, but I don't think
governments should be in the business of killing citizens, unless harm is
being done and there is no other remedy.
