I don't suppose it ever occurred to you fart smellas that it's much
better to have a pedophile typing away at his keyboard to talk to
others about pedophilia than to have them out irl practicing it?
And I don't suppose it occurred to you that, since this group has been
open for well over 15 years that someone in the government and law
enforcement has noticed it already? I don't doubt that there's a file
somewhere with my name on it -- my real name. That doesn't scare me
because I'm not breaking any laws, I'm not conspiring to break any
laws, and I'm really trying to use this forum as a way of helping
others who want to control their own behavior. What scares me more is
the possibility of forum like this one being closed while we are
learning that Pedophilia is much more pervasive that we had ever even
guessed. My personal opinion is that anyone coming here to brag about
conquests and exchange tips are just making themselves jail bait for
the Internet Task Force in Bedford, Va.
And just in case you're interested, in Japan you can buy comics and
video games about adults having sex with children or children having
sex with other children -- but the incidence of child sexual abuse is
much lower there. Give people good, safe outlets, and they'll use
them; deny them such outlets and they'll find other, less savory ways
of filling those needs. And make no mistake, the incidence of
pedophilia is ready to explode. I read a study just last night that
said that 60% of the men admitted to having pedophilic fantasies.
Admittedly, the sample number was small (n=94), but just imagine that
if 60% were willing to admit it -- how many others are either in
denial or just have enough sense to deny it? Certainly most of those
60% would never act on the fantasy -- but 60%?
I don't blame you for hating sexual offenders. People who commit
crimes against children -- especially just for their own jollies --
need to be stopped and put where they can't hurt children. I won't
condemn them because ... there, but for the grace of God, go I. And I
also believe that you hate the sin, not the sinner. Okay, God and sin
in a metaphorical sense, don't go accuse me of being a religious nut.
But you shouldn't forget the fact that people can control themselves
in most circumstances -- if they have the help and support that they
need to do it. Take that away, and you've got more people to heckle
and hunt down.
Just consider it with an open mind. I know that people don't often
change, but they can. I know that people are generally very stupid and
play follow the leader real easy, but what are we hurting by trying to
do something positive? Do we really lose anything by trying to help
others?
