Solomon's Private File #296
These stories about Stephen and Solomon take place starting in
1950's. Stephen wrote about his life in letters to a penpal, and then
in a secure blog, in case he lost his memory again, in the master
computer in his school for gifted students, which he started attending
in 2016 in a new incarnation, until his death. Now his son Solomon is
attending the same school, and is writing in his own secure blog for
his future incarnations.
All characters are fictitious, even if some of them might have names
that belong to some actual people, or act like people we know.
Solomon is 28 in this story, in the Winter of 2054-2055.

The Buddhist pattern seeing applicant, and now Bureau employee, came
to see me. He said, "You knew I would discover it." I said, "Everything
is part of a pattern. The enlightened know this very well. The major
pattern here should have the Director at its center." He said, "And
instead, it's here with you. Deduction, and my experience with you, led
me to the proper conclusion, but there was an anomaly. You didn't
appear to be highly psionic. On the possibility that you could control
our awareness of that, I looked deeper into the duration of the
patterns. My conclusion was made more firm, and then supported by
rumors." I said, "Good work! We've been doing this for almost a hundred
years, and in other countries as well. We don't want it public, so
people won't think we are trying to run governments. I know, stupid. If
we were, they would actually be good." He laughed.
I said, "We do this to help. Who we help is more than the obvious.
The more part, is US. We need to do this to help keep our humanity. And
not just because we get to play with interesting toys." He grinned and
said, "I'm happy and fortunate that I could have been of some
well." He chuckled. I said, "Please don't spread the rumor." He said,
"I agree. I won't." We hugged with love, and he left in a daze.
I shifted to a planet in another dimension, using a body that looked
mostly human, but for a different environment. I walked into the office
of the leader of the Originators there. She was an upright biped, and
covered with orange and grey striped fur. I said to her, "You were
ordered to leave this planet." She said, "How do you know that? Who are
you?" I said, "I am Solomon. I am the Senior Agent of God. Why have you
not left this planet?" She said, "It has become our home!" I said, "I
understand that, but you have not fully answered my question." She
said, "We don't want to leave it." I said, "You will move. How that
will be, and who you will be after it happens, will be your choice."
She had some fear, and said, "What are those choices?" I said, "The new
location will be chosen for you. If you go willingly, you may remain
Originators in His service. If you will not go, you will no longer be
Originators, and all memory of your service to Him will be removed, as
will all memory of the advanced technology that was given to you. I see
the question. Yes, this has been made to happen before."
She said, "Why must we leave?" I said, "A nearby intelligent species
has invented an FTL drive. They will soon discover you. This must NOT
happen. You were told this." She said, "We are shielded." I said, "No
shield is perfect. Too strong a shield, and they will know it's there.
Too weak, and they will penetrate it. That the shield exists at all,
shows them what they should not know. They should not know that
superior life forms exist, until they are able to withstand that. YOU
should appreciate that, with your difficulty in accepting my existence,
and doubt that I can do what should be done, that you don't want to
happen." She said, is some desperation, "We could make a shield they
could think was natural." I said, "Then you would not be able to
receive God's instructions. And that won't stop people from exploring
the shield. Even some Originators have done that to others, and against
orders."
She said, "How do we know you are in fact an Agent of God?" I said,
"He just told you." She opened the small God package in her mind, and
was surprised. She said, "If you were not available to do this?" I
said, "Then others would, and not as efficiently, and they would be
injured by it. I am stronger and more skilled." She said, "It would be
a lot of work to move, and take a long time." I said, "Your delay in
that has caused your completion time to exceed safe margins for
possible discovery. I can assist in that, for faster completion." She
said, "I must confer with my people." I said, "How long will that
take?" She said, "Many days." I said, "Not acceptable. I will link your
minds, so that you may communicate with your people directly. Now!" I
did that, and there were a lot of wows. She explained the situation.
Some were sad, and agreed to move. Some refused.
I said, "Those who refuse, do you want to leave God's service?" They
said they didn't. I said, "You can't have it both ways. You disobey,
you are not His. I will offer an alternative. Is it this planet you
like, or it's location?" It was the planet. I said, "Then I offer to
move it to another star system. Yes, I can do that. Much easier, in
fact, than creating the replacement planet in its place, which I will
do. Yes, I've heard wows before." They wanted to know when it would
happen. I said, "When I want it to, instantly. You won't feel anything
unusual, even if you want to. Well, except maybe a little for my
humor." They expressed some of that. I said, "Yes, your in-system space
ships will be transported with the planet, and those who are traveling
will be informed of the new location, which they can then travel to,
after they recover from their surprise at receiving a visitor while in
FTL drive. Yes, if there's one thing I'm good at, is surprising
people." More humor. I spread an image of a star chart in the linked
mind, and said, "Here is where you will be. It is estimated that it
will be 4,000 years before there are more possibilities for your
discovery at that location. Then, you won't be needed in this Galaxy."
I said, "The planet has been transferred to the new location. It's
orbit is in the right parameters, and the system is stable. Your
weather patterns will be a little unstable for a while. Your ships'
crews are still recovering from their surprise. There is one more thing
we must do. You have disobeyed God. If you want to remain in His
service, you must affirm that directly to Him. NOW!" They did that, and
God said in the link, "Solomon is my Senior Agent for all time and
Spaces. Obey him as you would me!" I said, "A little better, maybe?" He
said with humor, "Equally, in the future." Then he activated the life
on the new planet I had created to replace the one I moved. Then he
left.
I said to the stone of the leader, "What went wrong?" It said, "I
don't know. It surprised us." I said, "You were unaware that they could
have such a feeling, you who have no concept of home." He said, "I
still don't understand it, but I appreciate it now. We will manage this
better." I said, "I hope so. They deserve better. You are tools of God.
They serve willingly. That MUST be respected, and all consideration of
their comfort must be given, where possible." All the stones there in
the link, were surprised, and then thoughtful. It said, "A new
understanding. We thank you!"
I shifted into a starship going faster than light. The bridge crew
were VERY surprised. I said, "I would speak with your Captain." They
called for her. I said, "You are aware that your people were to move to
a different planet?" She said, "I am." I said, "They refused to move
from their planet. So, I moved the planet, with them on it. Here is the
new location." I gave her the chart. She was so astounded, she just
stared at it. Then she said, "If we go to where it was, it won't be
there?" I said, "I put another planet in its place. Just like the
original was before your people occupied it. Didn't want to destabilize
the system." She said, "How are we to believe you?" I said, "Do you
believe I'm here?" She said, "Oh." I said with a smile, "If I fill this
ship with animal waste products, would you believe me more?" Some
laughed. I said, "The same is happening in your other ships. So far,
none have requested that smelly proof." She said, "You have
associates?" I said, "Just me doing this. Multiple presences. I don't
actually need a body. I'm God's Senior Agent. If you go to the old
location, you will be wasting time, causing the Boss to have some
displeasure." She said, "The new location is far away." I said,
"Because of the reason for the move. Less chance of detection by
emerging intelligences. Speaking about intelligence, I hope you use
some in this situation. Which ship makes it to the new home location
have to please the Boss. Farewell." I faded out.
I shifted to meet with the king stone, and gave him the memory of
that action. He said, "A new understanding is correct! Thank you! My
monitoring of you has not been fully possible." I said, "I know. I
can't help with that, but in sharing with you what I think you need to
know. It's the same with my other advanced friend." He said, "She has
VERY fine perceptions. I have to be very careful to prevent her from
detecting me." I said, "What would be the harm if she did? She already
knows about your people. More than you know about her, actually." He
said, "Interesting." I said with a grin, "Very." Frustration and love.
My stone said to me, "When you are with her, you are limiting my
awareness of that?" I said, "Not as you think. Our communications are
on multiple levels, some of which are not available to you. Even if
they were, there is so much in it, you wouldn't be able to accept it."
He said, "Are you able to do something like that with the big stone?" I
said, "Not as much, but yes." He said, "Could I advance to that
ability?" I said, "You didn't want to." He said, "Oh!" I said, "And if
you did, you would not keep your bond with me, because you would be too
big for me to carry around with me." He said, "I will stay as I am." I
said, "There still can be some improvement over time, and you know that
some time in the future, I will stop using bodies, being that whole
galaxies will be inside me." He said, "That's going to be very
interesting!" I said, "Probably."
I shifted to meet with my friend the plant. I shared some actions
with her. She laughed a lot at the recent religion actions. She said,
"Your humor and creativity is er, unusual. I think it's something you
need to do, for YOU." I said, "Well, I would still do it if nobody else
could see it, so I have to agree. Creates some odd feelings in
Originators, though." She said with humor, "That it's after you bruise
their egos, makes it much more noticeable." I said, "I noticed that!"
Chuckles.
I said, "My other watcher has complimented you indirectly in telling
me how careful he as to be so you won't detect him." She said, "You
still won't tell me who it is?" I said, "Better if you meet without
expectations." She said, "One of your research projects." I said,
"Always." Chuckles. We exchanged love.
I shifted to the planet of the dimension watchers, to the home of my
centipede-like children. They played with me, too young to understand
about parents. It was fun. I talked with the mother, saying, "Notice
anything different with them?" She said, "Not at all. Normal as far as
I know." I said, "Good. As planned. Mental abilities don't show up
until later. Expected to be unusually intelligent, though. Won't work
for regular school." She said, "But they must go. It's the law." I
said, "And the law says they must be educated to their ability. At the
right time, I will offer to be their teacher. Your Mayor will help."
She said, "Then it will be so." I said, "Here are some pictures of me
in both bodies. Only you and the children can see them. This is so they
will come to know me, without er, difficulties." She said, "Good idea."
I spent a week there, and liked it a lot.
Then a month later, I spent another week there. They recognized me. I
said to the mother, "At the right time, when about ten years old, they
will need to go to a special school to learn to use and control their
unusual abilities." She said, "Where will that be?" I said, "On the
planet of the stupid dimensional experimenters." She smiled. I said,
"One of my students has a school there, that is also for those from
other dimensions. We think that keeping dimensional travel a secret
from those who shouldn't know about it and can't do it, is best." She
said, "It sounds wise. Who the Mayor is at that time must agree to it."
I said, "That will happen!" She said, "I don't doubt that at all."
I received a contact from the Originators who had watched me against
orders. I shifted to their planet. One of the two leaders said, "One of
our children is different. We are unable to understand its mind. Would
you help us?" I said, "I see him. A mutation. He will not grow as tall
as you, but he will be physically stronger. His brain is a little
different, and he will not fit into this society." He said, "What can
we do about this? Will a healing help?" I said, "A healing won't change
who he is, because he isn't ill. He is as he should be, for him. I see
you can't accept that enough for him to be well here. I offer him my
home." He said, "That is very generous of you! His parents agree to
giving him to your care. We know he could have no greater love."
I ported the boy to my arms at home, and said to the surprised Galya,
"We have another son." She said, "How did that happen?" I said, "A
mutational changeling. Parents can't accept him, and agreed to let me,
us, raise him. High psionic potential." Mom said, "Would he be allowed
to return to his parents?" I said, "You suspect. No. He's about one
year old, our time. New birthday, from now on. He already can talk.
Here's the language." I gave it to them. I said, "He'll learn more
fast. He will accept us. I did a slight adjustment for that.
Biologically, he can thrive on our food and milk." Mom said, "A hand in
it?" I said, "Got to be, but I'm afraid to ask." Nods. I said, "His
name is Harahm." Mom said, "I'll arrange for his adoption." We loved
him, and he knew that when he woke up.
