Hi Doc!
Thanks for caring.
It wasn't any kind of a vacation! I needed emergency major surgery. I'm
home from the hospital trying to recover from that. The nurses and
doctors were great, but they couldn't keep me from being selfishly
miserable.
Military service exposes members to a lot of odd chemicals. Some of
them can cause unhealthy things. I thought I had escaped that. Wrong! I
now know what I'll die of, and probably when. I thought that would
change how I would view my life and its priorities. It hasn't. I don't
know why. Maybe the ongoing treatment will change that.
I have more than a thousand posts ready to go, and I'm writing more, if
a little slowly now. I just can't wait to see what my characters will
be doing next!
I hope you and all the members of the Fort stay well, and live life
knowing we care about each other. All people deserve to be loved and
respected for who they are. I learned that HERE!
