Hi Jaackov,
You can get a free newsreader, FreeAgent does most of the things you'd
need to do to send and read posts. But you will NEVER be able to see
the binary posts from Google Groups. They are basically letting you
know what is here, but you cannot SEE what is here because Google
Groups do not include binary posts (pictures, music, videos, etc.) For
that you need Usenet access. There are a few 'free' Usenet services
but they are unwieldy and likely will not host this group because it
has been highly censored.
Unless you are able to get access to a Usenet provider I will be
unable to help you.
It is the way things work these days. Back when I started my internet
provider included newsgroups and had all the groups I was interested
in. Eventually these groups became provocative and haters forced a
crusade against the boy groups. You can still participate in the group
through text, but you will not see anything except text through Google
Groups.
